Barkley Village: Bellingham Renewed
Barkley Village is a 250-acre urban village with a mix of residential, retail, office and civic uses located in Bellingham, Washington. Barkley’s master plan is rooted in intelligent urban design, including pedestrian-friendly streets, parks and trails.
The mission of The Barkley Company is to change the profile of Bellingham by continuously building an exciting neighborhood and vibrant commercial center. We do this one project, one business, and one relationship at a time, incorporating new ideas, innovation and attention to detail. Two examples are the contemporary designs and quality materials such as brick, steel and stone which are visible in the buildings, as well as wired to the highest technical standards and equipped with high-speed communications connections.
This property is considered the premier business location in Bellingham, serving a variety of local, regional, national and international companies in the medical, professional and retail sectors. Because it is surrounded by thriving residential neighborhoods, and new residential properties in the pipeline, Barkley’s retail center intentionally includes unique shops and restaurants and is anchored by a major grocery store.
